Dottie Hoppe
Pan America Mission | PA, USA
Dottie is a trained linguist, who, with her husband, Bob, developed an alphabet for the Malayo language, spoken by the Wiwa people in the mountains of Colombia. Bob went to be with the Lord in 2017. Dottie continues the ministry and, with her Malayo co-workers, has translated most of the New Testament and some of the Old Testament into the Malayo language. They are producing audio recordings so people can hear the Word of God in their heart language. Dottie has three adult children, Matthew, Nathan, and Rachel.
Dottie has been an FEC member and missionary since 1988.
